so... i'm in week 19 of our "52" project on flickr. a group of friends and myself have decided to keep our creative juices flowing every week by posting 1 type of art [photo, painting, design, etc] to flickr that we created during that week. yes, a year of art. we figure it helps keep those of us who do art for a living enjoying our craft and doing non-job art. and for those who don't do art for a living, it is an avenue in which they can grow their skills as well.

life is a gift.
i heard someone say exactly that a while ago and it was like a glass of cold water on my face. and yet, i continually get wrapped up in minute details - so much so that i keep missing the point! life is a gift.
and i know its not always fun, or easy. sometimes life downright sucks. but in the midst of our every day life we have to enjoy ourselves and enjoy each other and laugh. who doesn't love to laugh so hard you can't breathe?
anyway, i stumbled across a blog that kind of renewed these thoughts in my mind. this girl, a freelance photographer, has fun with life and you can tell. she's full of adventures and random ideas - like sticking little hearts, or thought bubbles, or googly eyes on objects around town. then capturing those moments. just thought i'd share:
FACT: Every kids wants to be able to fly. Actually, every person wants to be able to fly. I mean, come on, who doesn't? I stumbled into this German photographer, Jan von Holleben who makes dreams come true. Sort of. But its more than flying... he took kids' dreams and made them real. I love these pictures though and I love the feelings they capture:
