so... i'm in week 19 of our "52" project on flickr. a group of friends and myself have decided to keep our creative juices flowing every week by posting 1 type of art [photo, painting, design, etc] to flickr that we created during that week. yes, a year of art. we figure it helps keep those of us who do art for a living enjoying our craft and doing non-job art. and for those who don't do art for a living, it is an avenue in which they can grow their skills as well.

i caught a glimpse of one of his paintings on my igoogle "artist a day" widget and couldn't resist looking at more of his paintings. i LOVE the scientific realism of the birds mixed with some abstract strokes colors and shapes. seeing work like this makes me want to paint more.
